It has been brought to my attention that the previous post concerning grades and immersions at the Johnson School was not entirely correct. Here is a response I received from JLARTEY (of BW Forum and JGSM S&T fame):

"no immersion requires any sort of grade in accounting… only requirement for anything is a B in finance"

However, I would like to note that while the immersion doesn't require a B, most people understand that if you are pursuing a top investment bank, you'll want an A in the core accounting class--B is worse, and C would likely kill you. Not specific to JGSM, just in general.
